The Beauty of Lean Muscle

The muscles in our body are there for numerous reasons. One of them is to help our skin retain its shape. When a person is young, the skin has natural elasticity and upon the person losing weight, that elasticity follows the shape of the muscle and falls naturally into place. On the other hand when a person is older and overweight and decides to lose weight, that skin has lost its elasticity and even with exercise, the skin will have a tendency to sag. The other main reason that muscles are so important is that as we age, the more muscle we have built up the better chances of it protecting and building up our bones. Weight lifting and walking are excellent ways to build up muscle to help our bones retain their strength. The protein shake burns fat and builds lean muscle. As you find yourself losing weight and especially if you have considerable amounts of weight to lose, you will find drinking the protein shake and exercise will help most of your skin fall back into place naturally. You will have some sagging skin but that is because of your age and not because you didn’t work hard enough. Begin now, if you are young, to exercise and to lose weight. My advice, do not, I repeat do not wait until you are older to lose weight. Loose skin in not attractive at all. Allow the shake to burn your fat and to build lean muscle but also help it along by walking and by lifting weights.
