Imagine a 64 year old man entering a contest where he is competing with much younger males and he becomes the winner! That is exactly what Tom McCoy did! I have known Tom for about 30 years now, since he has been married to Deb McCoy and she and I taught school together for years. When I first met Tom, he was a pilot who flew jets in the Air Force. He achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel, retired and then went to work at Northrop Gruman where he was in a top management position there. Who’s going to be the next Rising Star on our team?

I’m referring to the BMW wheel that several people, lucky people got to spin at the National Success Training Event in Saint Louis Missouri powered by Visalus Sciences during the weekend of November 2-4.

I sat in the Edward Jones Dome watching as names were being called out and also placed on the gigantic screens above us. I had a feeling that my name would be called out. I watched as the wheel would go round and round. I pictured myself spinning the wheel and winning one of the prizes posted on the wheel. It didn’t really matter to me what I won as long as I could win something and create a story from it!

On my way out to go to the bathroom, the announcement comes on that it is time for another spinning of the magical wheel. I turn around and immediately on the giant screen, I see my name! Sylvia Santos!
I scream once and then I scream again to wake my brain up. I run down the stairs as fast as I can and run across the floor to reach the stage before they change their minds and realize that they pulled the wrong name. I kept urging my legs to go faster and faster! I arrive at the ramp to take me up to the stage where I will actually stand next to the wheel and spin it. I show the attendant my driver’s license and step up to the wheel. Even though I used my right hand, it was difficult to spin it. I hear the audience start a roar because they realize that the wheel is slowly making its way to the biggest prize on that Wheel, which is the trip to Germany to drive a brand new BMW on the Autobahn! When the wheel stops dead on that prize the audience screams and claps and yells and whistles!!! I won, I won! My daughter in law suggested that I take one of my promoters with me! Great idea! Brilliant. My son suggested I take him, LOL! Then he also saw the brilliance in running a contest for our promoters and offering them that once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Germany and drive the Autobahn. So that is exactly what we will do. Any promoter who hits the position of National Director by March 1, 2013 will have the chance to go with me to Germany!

I can’t thank this wonderful company, Visalus, enough for how they have changed my life, my health, my beliefs. Thank you Visalus for this terrific opportunity to travel to Germany! And all because I sat there and watched that wheel go round and round and knew that I would get to put my hands on it and make it go round and round!

Wow! We just got back from our national Body by Vi event in Saint Louis. My mind is officially blown as the event was epic. To hear the stories live on stage of all the transformations and all the health goals people are going after is amazing. We were able to watch a couple of our promoters who hit the rank of Regional Director get their BMW told you so license plate and cross the stage in front of the entire Stadium. Oh yes! A day that I have definitely waited for to get here! A 16 city tour across the United States of the Visalus Body by Vi 90 Challenge Latino tour! Visalus Sciences is currently getting ready to launch the Latino market. You know that it is going to be huge! There are millions of Latinos in the US and can you imagine the number of Latinos affected by the launching of Body by Vi when it hits Mexico and the rest of Latin America? BOOM! Huge!

Recently, some of my promoters and I attended one of the Body by Vi Latino Tours in Phoenix, Arizona. It was beautiful to witness 4 Star Ambassadors, Tito and Irene Aleman on stage leading the event. The seats were filled with nothing but Latinos! This was definitely a day that I waited for!

Imagine being able to impact the health of so many Latinos. Diabetes and high blood pressure are prevalent in the hispanic community. And it appears that these 2 major diseases are becoming even more prevalent in latino children. Yes, we should be alarmed. So what can we do to help?
